Privacy Policy

Data we access

With your permission, Vytalio reads the following from Apple HealthKit:

  • Heart rate data: heart rate, resting heart rate, and HRV
  • Sleep data: duration, stages, and quality
  • Activity data: steps, energy, and exercise time
  • Respiratory data: respiratory rate
  • Body metrics: temperature and blood oxygen
  • Optional account data: Sign in with Apple user ID, name, and relay email, only when provided

How we use your data

  • Calculate daily stress, recovery, sleep, and energy scores
  • Generate early overload and Aging Clock insights
  • Track trends and patterns over time
  • Provide private coaching via on-device Apple Intelligence

AI and data processing

On-device Apple Intelligence. Vytalio can use Apple Intelligence (Foundation Models) for on-device coaching on supported devices. Health data used for coaching is not sent to any third-party AI service or cloud API.

No third-party AI services. Vytalio does not use OpenAI, Google, or any other third-party AI provider. When Apple Intelligence is not available on your device, the app uses built-in local coaching rules instead.

Data storage

On-device processing. Health data processing happens locally on your iPhone. If you choose to save mindful sessions or mood check-ins back to HealthKit, those entries remain managed in Apple Health.

Local cache. Calculated scores and app state are stored locally with iOS data protection encryption. Widgets and Watch sync mirror app data through your Apple App Group.

Optional account. If you use Sign in with Apple, Vytalio stores the Apple-provided user identifier and optional name or relay email locally for account display and Apple Watch sync. You can use Vytalio without creating an account.

What we don't do

  • We do not upload your raw health data to third-party servers
  • We do not sell health data or share it with advertisers
  • We do not send health data to any external AI service
  • We do not use health data for advertising
  • We do not track your location

Your rights

  • Revoke HealthKit permissions anytime in Settings
  • Use the app without Sign in with Apple
  • Delete app-local data in Settings or by uninstalling the app
  • Remove HealthKit entries you saved from the Health app
